About

My research focuses on providing a theoretical foundation to understand ecosystems across scales. Specifically, I am mostly interested in how individual-level interactions drive species spatial organization, which ultimately terminates macroecological outcomes (see Gallery or Publication list). Such a research line involves an interdisciplinary effort that counts with the support of collaborators and inspiring mentors. Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at The Center for Advanced Systems Understanding (CASUS) supervised by prof. Justin Calabrese. Previously, I was a postdoctoral research associate at Princeton University (EEB) supervised by profs. Corina Tarnita (TarnitaLab) and Juan Bonachela (BonachelaLab); and at IFISC (Institute for Cross-Disciplinary Physics and Complex Systems) under the supervision of profs. E. Hernández-García and C. López. During my PhD, I was advised by C. Anteneodo at PUC-Rio.
